You know you have tons of work but you just can't make yourself open the relevant documents. After every five minutes you check the time. It just doesn't seems to pass. You don't feel like browsing or checking your email. Every thing just loses its taste and you feel like a zombie.
We work, work and work! We slave away our lives.. morning evening.. then again morning evening and another one and another one! office work at day time house work at night, family work on weekends. Then a time comes when you just say... ENOUGH! I need to get out of this vicious cycle and let the time pass by without me counting the ticks. When the day turns to night and i don't even feel it. Where I don't have to think that now I have to do this and then that.
Bottom line... I am burnt out! I need to break free! I need a Vacation!

National Geographic is most definitely my favorite website and channel. It brings to us the amazing natural world and the people and cultures we have never seen before. It has a team of most amazing, talented and daring cameramen and photographers.

Sometimes, you diverge from your usual taste and find some thing which just hit a chord within you. Such a song is "The Only Exception" by an American Rock band Paramore. Since its inception in 2004, this band has come a long way with many accolades under their belt now.
The lead singer Hayley Williams has strong solid vocals with a lot of depth which makes this track a true treat. She also writes the songs in the band, therefore perhaps its no surprise that she sings the songs with such emotion as she probably understands the meaning behind them.
The song is written in first person perspective of a girl who grew up with parents who were unlucky in love which resulted her not believing in love. However, her ideologies collapse when she meets a guy and is forced to make an exception. This song also talks about how the girl is not completely blinded by love but she remains in tune with the reality that how love is not an emotion which could be held onto to forever with one person, and how things won't last and this too won't last forever. The ending of the song is beautiful and speaks in favor of the phrase from Alfred Lord Tennyson's poem
In Memoriam:27'Tis better to have loved and lost
Than never to have loved at all.
Williams sings the song with true sincerity and emotion and the listener could feel the resonance of her voice even after the song ends and loses himself in images of his own similar endeavors.
Musically, this song is not very superior and thats why it loses 1 whole point on my rating criteria.
This song is highly recommended for listening.
